Did you know that a pair of jeans travels about 60,000 kilometers before we buy them in the store? At norbärt, it's about 1,000 kilometers.
From the very beginning, it was important to me that if I launched a product, it would only be if it didn't have to travel halfway around the world to be bought. With some research, a lot of perseverance, and courage, I was able to set up a 100% Austrian production chain.
The fiber, Tencel Modal, comes from the company Lenzing and is made from wood fibers. Fun Fact: the fiber is fully compostable. It is knitted by FeinJersey Fabric in Vorarlberg and printed directly in Tyrol at TDI Imst.
The finished fabric rolls then come to me in Styria and are lovingly sewn by hand by my seamstress in the same town.
